Somer is a native of Hollywood, California who has transplanted to Las Vegas in 1998.  With over twenty years of experience, Somer has a diverse background specializing in Accounting, Customer Service, Human Resources and Marketing.  Somer is always adding to her educational experience through seminars and college level classes to continue providing the best service available.

 

Before coming to Shaw & Associates, Somer was the Operations Manager of Design Intensity, a web design and marketing firm.  This knowledge has allowed us to keep costs down thus giving our clients a better rate.

 

Somer has worked for Boatmen’s National Bank in the Mortgage/Lending department for the Senior Vice President, giving her the insight of mortgage lending and commercial lending experience.  Her experience includes Pacific Lighting Real Estate Group, an investment real estate company.  There she was active in investment real estate and marketing strategies.  Somer also worked at TCBY Tower Building Management where she managed a thirty three story building with a vast amount of tenants at one time.  She had everything from retail tenants to restaurants to executive suites. 

 

Somer became very efficient and has taught Time Management courses to Secretarial students within her corporate world.  Somer has the knowledge to reorganize a company to run smoother, more efficiently in a cost effective environment leading to better, stronger company profits.
